EDWARD MILHORN
Compliance Consulting Director
Mr. Milhorn leads the Compliance Consulting group, with a wide array of compliance support services designed to assist clients with compliance administration consulting, risk assessments, policy and procedure development, training, monitoring reviews, and other non-audit support services. Ed joined SCS after spending several years as a Compliance Manager in a consulting and audit firm where he managed day-to-day operations for the firm’s Compliance Division.
Ed has been in the Consumer Compliance field for more than 19 years where he as a Compliance Officer for Mortgage Lending, Enterprise BSA/AML Compliance Analyst, and Corporate Compliance Manager for the Compliance Process Certification Team in charge of Independent Compliance Testing. Additionally, he has regularly developed and conducted training on a myriad of consumer compliance and BSA/AML topics, most recently providing training on topics such as Regulation E, CRA, Fair Lending, Flood and BSA/AML. Ed has also managed compliance-related functions in both loan originations and servicing and has an extensive background and strong expertise in all areas of consumer regulatory compliance, including both loan and deposit-related laws and regulations.
Ed received his M.A. in English from East Tennessee State University and a B.A. in English.
